About the treatment

About the treatment

ANTI-AGE is a package for skin showing the first signs of ageing: it adds diode laser skin rejuvenation to the treatments of the basic package.

The package description in the centre booking system lists the same treatments as ESSENTIAL — a cavitation (ultrasonic) peel, a brightening treatment, a treatment for blemishes, a smoothing treatment for fine lines and a succinic acid treatment — plus laser rejuvenation. The skin care treatments work on the surface of the skin and its tone; the laser works on skin density at a deeper level.

For anyone noticing fine lines, a loss of firmness and radiance, who wants to work not only on the surface of the skin but on its density too. If cleansing and tone are your main concerns for now, the basic ESSENTIAL package is enough.

The first visit starts with an assessment: the specialist checks your skin, decides in what order to combine the skin care treatments with the laser and makes sure there is no reason to avoid laser treatment. Please ask when booking how many visits the package includes and how the treatments are spread across them.

After laser rejuvenation and the acid steps your skin needs moisture and daily sun protection; it is best to avoid tanning and sunbeds during the course. The specialist will give you aftercare advice after each visit.

The skin looks matte and tired, as if under a film. The tone is dull and grey even when your home routine is right.

What to know before your visit

Worth checking with your doctor
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • If you have cancer in an active phase
Better to wait a little
  • If there is acute inflammation, damage or irritation in the treatment area — wait until your skin has settled
  • During a flare-up of a chronic skin condition — it is better to wait for a calmer period
  • If you have a fever, a cold or a flare-up of any condition — it is better to come once you feel better

The specialist checks the full list at the assessment — if in doubt, mention it when booking.

At the examination the specialist looks at your skin type and your goal — glow, tone, density, post-acne — and chooses the protocol and the depth of treatment. The examination is part of the visit, so no separate “introductory” consultation is needed.

It depends on the protocol. Gentle facials and moisturising treatments leave no noticeable peeling — you can go out the same day. More active ones renew the skin more visibly; when that is expected, the specialist will say so in advance so you can plan your week.

Warmth or a light tingling; the discomfort is brief. The specialist watches the skin's reaction and, if needed, uses a neutraliser and soothing care.

Stop home retinoids and acids 5–7 days beforehand — if you use strong actives, tell us in advance and the protocol will be adjusted. Before a peel — no fresh tan.

For 24–48 hours — no sauna and no overheating; do not rub the skin with your hands or exfoliate it. SPF every day, even in cloudy weather; no sunbed and no active tanning for 7–14 days. Home acids — only once the specialist allows them.

Glow is often noticeable within 2–5 days. Tone and texture change over a course — usually at 2–4 week intervals; the plan is drawn up at the examination for your goal.

About herpes, inflammation, pregnancy, increased sensitivity and medication — this matters before the start, so that a safe protocol can be chosen or the visit rescheduled.
